Circles

Women's Circles -Rematriating the Heart
In our society, women are often socialized to prioritize the needs of others above their own, fostering a deep-rooted culture of self-sacrifice. This expectation can lead to feelings of guilt when we take time for ourselves, perpetuating cycles that can leave us depleted and undervalued. To break free from this pattern, we must consciously choose to prioritize our own well-being.
By recognizing that our health and happiness are foundational to the strength of our communities, we can begin to shift the narrative. When women nurture themselves, they become better equipped to support their families and contribute to their communities in meaningful ways. This shift not only benefits individuals but also fosters a culture where everyone’s needs are valued and addressed.
As we gather and share our experiences, we can collectively challenge the norms that encourage self-sacrifice. By advocating for our own needs and well-being, we empower ourselves and model healthy behaviors for future generations. In doing so, we create a ripple effect that can lead to healthier, more resilient communities, where care is mutual and everyone thrives.
Men’s Circle

The community provides a safe space for men to build solidarity and understanding. Through mutual respect, we aim to better support our families and form bonds of camaraderie and friendship, as we redefine masculinity.

Community Circle -
An open space for us to collectively find solutions to the problems, differences, and circumstances we face in this society in crisis. On a personal level, the community circle is a tool for organization.
Indigenous Resilience Practices

Spaces for cultural revitalization are found in our deep and wise Indigenous roots. Ceremony and ritual are the means by which we remember the words of our grandmothers and grandfathers while honoring their impact on our lives. We also work in the garden to hold workshops and promote community revitalization, creating an environment where we can learn, share, and grow together.
